Dear Golfers and GSF Foundation Supporters,

It’s that time again to team up, tee off and golf for a good cause! Golden State Foods would like to personally invite you to the 11th Annual GSF Foundation Golf Classic on September 22nd & 23rd for what is sure to be great golf, camaraderie and celebration!  This year’s tournament will once again be at one of the most premier golf destinations in the South, Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia.  Our country and industry have been faced with some challenges and uncertainties this year and the need now is greater than ever.

For more than 18 years, the GSF Foundation has improved the lives of countless children and families through charitable donations and community service. A natural extension of Golden State Foods’ values-based business, the Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life of children and families in need in the areas where GSF associates live and work through personal involvement and contributions. The funds raised from the Golf Classic allow the GSF Foundation to conduct many charitable efforts within the community. As we strive to reach new goals for attendance and fundraising, we hope you, as a valued business partner and friend, will share in the opportunity to contribute to the Foundation’s efforts in a very purposeful way.     

   

Through the generosity of our supporters like you, we are pleased to announce 2019 was a record year with attendance, we collectively raised more than $140,000 to help support GSF Foundation programs and local charities benefitting the very people who need it most in our own communities. Some include the Best Foot Forward shoe program, Back(pack) to School backpack program, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Boy’s Haven, Boys & Girls Club, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Kate’s Club, A Child’s Voice Advocacy Center and Camp Twin Lakes.

The agenda, sponsorship opportunities and registration form are enclosed. For your convenience, we have reserved a block of rooms at two nearby hotels: The Lodge on Lake Oconee (starting at $99) and Ritz Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee (starting at $309). There are also a limited number of villas available through Reynolds Lake Oconee. Back by popular demand, we have secured the Plantation at Great Waters for our VIP party and dinner. GSF’s very own Executive Chefs will prepare a new and exciting dinner menu, and due to limited parking, transportation will be provided to the VIP party from local area accommodations. Please complete and submit the registration form by Friday, August 21th to secure your sponsorship.

If you are unable to join us for golf, we would like to especially encourage you to consider a hole-in-one or beverage cart sponsorship, which will provide an opportunity to have your company logo displayed at the tournament. Other opportunities to support are a cash donation or auction item, and as always, your support in any way is very much appreciated.
